New clothes worth more than 25 million hryvnias discovered at the border with Poland
They tried to bring things to Ukraine through the crossing point “Yagodin”, having previously hidden among the cargo of humanitarian aid.
It was possible to detect illegal trafficking as a result of the use of risk profiles on the possible illegal movement of goods across the border.
As a result of an additional inspection, a joint group of operational officers and observers of the Lutsk border patrol, employees of the SBU and the State Customs Service found undeclared goods worth more than 25 million hryvnias.
Among the “humanitarian” law enforcement officers found 16,262 units of new clothing of various brands, which was not specified in the shipping documents.
The goods, which according to preliminary estimates cost 25 million 775 thousand hryvnias, were seized by customs officers.
