New Year is a time to give and receive gifts. Border guards deserved the most expensive gifts — children's laughter and good mood. On the eve of the coming 2022 year, the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment visited with greetings and guests to the kids, who especially need warmth and attention. Border guards and the chaplain of the detachment visited educational institutions for orphans, children with disabilities and toddlers whose families need additional social protection in the village of Geten, the villages of Batovo and Velyky Bychkiv.
The children sincerely rejoiced at the guests, who were filled with a lot of questions, among which the most common was: when will the next meeting take place? The border guards promised the little ones that they would definitely visit them more than once and wished the children, as well as their educators, good health and a happy new year!
At the same time, an unexpected gift from children was received by border guards who will celebrate the New Year away from home, because they are on the reinforced Ukrainian-Belarusian border. A delegation from one of the local schools visited the tent camp of the border guards. Children and teachers in New Year's outfits helped create a real holiday with interesting contests and fun outdoor activities. All participants of the event received a huge charge of inspiration and good mood, congratulated one on the upcoming holidays, wished health, success, prosperity to everyone and peace to Ukraine in the coming year.
