The National Police detained the head of the “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine” while trying to escape from Ukraine
The official was detained by the operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations at Zhuliany airport in the morning, August 13. In this way, he tried to avoid responsibility. In addition, his accomplice was detained along with him.
Recall: The National Police of Ukraine exposed large-scale abuses of officials of the “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine”. The amount of damage is more than 57 million US dollars.
Investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police have already reported the suspicion to the head of the corporation and the owner of several companies under Part 5 of Art. 191 (appropriation, embezzlement of property or possession of it by abuse of official position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are currently being carried out with them.
Petitions are being prepared in court for the election of both suspects to take preventive measures.
