The National Police exposed the officials of the municipal enterprise in violation of the operation of the domestic waste landfill
In the Kyiv region, officials of the municipal enterprise allowed an increase in the landfill by 7 hectares, which caused the state especially large losses.
Police officers of the Department for the Protection of Public Interest and the State of the National Police of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office exposed the officials of the municipal enterprise in the Kiev region who committed violations of the rules of operation of the landfill.
The defendants did not secure the fence of the landfill for the entry of vehicles to the waste landfill only through the checkpoint. As a result, the boundaries of the landfill were increased from 5 to 12 hectares, resulting in garbage storage under power lines.
Pre-trial investigation is carried out under Part 2 of Art. 364 (Abuse of power or official position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The defendants face imprisonment for a term of three to six years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years, with a fine of five hundred to one thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens.
