The National Police reported the suspicion of a woman in complicity in the fraudulent possession of a land plot
A land plot of more than 1.5 hectares was seized by a fake decision of the Kyiv City Council. Currently, the land is returned to the ownership of the territorial community of the capital.
Employees of the Department for the Protection of Public Interest and the State with the investigators of the Desnyansk Department of Police of the GUNP in the city of Kyiv, under the procedural leadership of the Desnyansk District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Kiev, exposed a group of persons who fraudulently took possession of a land plot in the capital.
During the pre-trial investigation, the police established that in 2018, a group of individuals, according to a fictitious decision of the Kyiv City Council, appropriated a land plot of more than 1.5 hectares belonging to the territorial community of the city of Kyiv. Its cost is more than 1.7 million UAH.
At present, members of the group have been notified of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 4 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For complicity in fraudulent possession of particularly large property, the defendant faces up to 12 years in prison.
According to the claim of the Desnyansk District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Kyiv, the land plot was returned to the ownership of the territorial community of the city of Kyiv.
