“The National Guard is ready to perform tasks as assigned in all areas of defense”, - Mykola Balan
On June 12, the commander of the National Guard, Colonel-General Mykola Balan, together with the first deputy secretary of the National Security Service of Ukraine, Colonel General Mikhail Koval, arrived in the area of the PLO to inspect the units of the NGU in the Mariupol direction. The working group visited, in particular, the military towns of a separate special purpose detachment “Azov” of the military unit 3057 of the National Guard of Ukraine.
During the visit, Mykola Balan noted the training and motivation of the personnel, the quality of performance of the combat tasks assigned to them by the units of the NGU and the level of their interaction with the units of other military formations.
Colonel-General Mykhailo Koval assessed the readiness of the National Guard personnel, noted that commanders and personnel are ready to act in case of sudden changes in the operational situation.
“Units of the National Guard of Ukraine are developing every day and increasing their combat capabilities. This is proved by the results of their service, in particular, in the area of the PLO. And today I can say that we are fully ready to fulfill the assigned tasks on all lines of defense,” said the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine.
