National guards took part in the joint border operation “Kordoon-2021” in Volyn
Guards of military unit 1141 of the Western Operational and Territorial Union of the National Guard of Ukraine joined the joint border operation “Kordoon-2021”. It will last until the end of October on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border within the Volyn region.
During the special operation, border guards in cooperation with the Lutsk National Guard, police, migration service employees and local self-government bodies effectively counteract illegal activities at the border. Law enforcement officers monitor compliance by individuals and legal entities with national legislation and ensure the prompt response to changes in the situation at the state border. In addition, the control of citizens' compliance with the border regime in the border zone has been strengthened.
In particular, during the operation, joint units carry out checks of transport and documents at checkpoints, patrol areas and bypass the border territory.
