National Guardsmen congratulated children on St. Nicholas Day
On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, guards in every corner of Ukraine congratulated children on St. Nicholas Day.
Sumy guards visited the pupils of the Sumy Orphanage named after him for a visit. S.P. Suprun, in order to give them gifts from themselves and from Ukrainian-American volunteers. In Sumy orphanage, we are always happy to meet with the guards.
Also, guard Nikolai of the 5th Slobozhansky Brigade visited the children of Kharkiv Special School No. 2 with gifts. Children with impaired intellectual and mental development study and stay in the institution.
“Every year our pets look forward to this day. The day when in a crowded hall they will not just receive gifts, but give the atmosphere of the holiday. And it is thanks to you that every year St. Nicholas Day turns into a real family holiday in the circle of true friends of our orphanage and our children,” says the director of the orphanage Lyubov Rudyka.
The time of winter holidays is magical in its own way for both adults and children. And it begins precisely on St. Nicholas Day, when children are waiting for the fulfillment of their dreams and believe in a fairy tale. It has already become a tradition for the guards to come every year on the eve of the New Year holidays with gifts from the Kalynivka National Guards to the pupils of the Stryzhava orphanage.
“The pupils of the boarding school, like no one, need warmth and care, and our task is to support them in every possible way, to inspire them with hope for a better and brighter future. You organized a real holiday for children and we are happy that the Kalynivka National Guards have become a part of this miracle,” said the director of the boarding school Vasily Litsky. . Children were looking forward to the arrival of fairy-tale heroes. Meeting with St. Nicholas, Evil Sorceress, Winter, Mice, Beech and the symbol of the next year, the Tiger — became a real holiday for boarding school students.
“It's so great to make the kids happy! Adults have such an opportunity — to give children a holiday, the memory of which can remain pleasant good memories for a lifetime. After all, the memorable moments of childhood are one of the brightest and most memorable in my whole life!” - the head of the psychological support service of military unit 3058, Lieutenant Victoria Tarasenko, shared her opinion.
Also, on the eve of the celebration of St. Nicholas Day, students of the KZO secondary school of the National Guard No. 62 of the Dnieper City Council visited the military unit 3054 of the Central Operational and Territorial Union of the National Guard of Ukraine. Students presented hand-made amulets for the military, sweets for the festive table and kind words of gratitude and support.
“St. Nicholas Day is a special day for every child. For us, this is a great opportunity to once again visit our sub-chief institution with gifts and really make this day truly festive. There is a special atmosphere in this institution, and today's concert from pupils is just a flurry of applause after each number,” says Major Alexander Degtyarev, deputy commander of the military unit for working with personnel.
