In Zaporizhzhia, as a result of an accident, a minor child was injured — the police opened criminal proceedings
The event took place in the village of Balky, Vasilyevsky district. The driver of the Chevrolet Niva car staged an attack on an 8-year-old girl who ran onto the carriageway. The victim with bodily injuries was taken to a local hospital. The causes and circumstances of the accident are established. Investigative actions are ongoing.
On November 12, the duty department No. 2 of the Vasilyevsky district department of the GUNP in Zaporizhzhya region received a report of a traffic accident in which a young child was injured.
It was previously established that the driver of the 1965 Chevrolet Niva was driving along Mira Street in the village of Balky in the direction of the city of Energodar. When the girl ran onto the carriageway, the driver applied the brakes, but allowed a hit on the minor.
The child with physical injuries was taken by the ambulance doctors to a local hospital.
According to the conclusion of the medical examination, the driver of the car is sober.
The investigator entered information about the event in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations on the grounds of a criminal offense, provided for in Part 1 of Art. 286 “Violation of the rules of road safety or operation of vehicles by persons driving vehicles” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The vehicle has been removed. Investigative actions are ongoing.
