In Transcarpathia, the police reported the suspicion of the chairman of the company's board of directors for the illegal extraction of andesite and almost UAH 39 million in losses
The suspect without any permits set up the extraction of stones in the Shytiv Potik tract.
As established by the operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations in the Transcarpathian region of the National Police, the illegal business was organized by the head of the company, whose activities are related to the conduct of specialized construction works of water networks. The defendant without any permits set up the extraction of andesite stones in the Shytiv Potik tract. Minerals were exported by technicians without any identification and license plates. According to the conclusions of experts, the amount of damage caused by the actions of the entrepreneur to the state is almost 39 million UAH.
On the basis of the evidence received, the investigators of the investigative department of the police of the Transcarpathian region informed the head of the society about the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 240 (Violation of the rules of protection or use of subsoil) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In order to compensate for the damage caused, the issue of the seizure of the property of the company is resolved.
Procedural guidance in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor's Office.
