In the city of Svaliava, in Transcarpathia, an 8-year-old boy came to the police to find St. Nicholas. The child wanted to ask him for a wheelchair for his younger brother.
And for this he needed to “hand over” to Nicholas a very important letter. This was reported in the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region.
The 8-year-old “applicant” very much asked the police to help in the search for St. Nicholas, they, in turn, promised the child to do everything possible and convey the message to the addressee. When police officers opened the letter, they were not only surprised, but also touched. After all, the boy asked to bring a wheelchair as a gift to his younger 6-year-old brother.
Since there were only a few days left before the holiday, the police, together with volunteers, began to fulfill the wishes of the child. They arranged a real miracle for Stas: together with “Nikolay” they came to his house and gave gifts to the boy and his two younger brothers. Among them was not only a wheelchair, but also winter clothes, toys and many sweets.
