In Khmelnytskyi region, a father who beat children with a hot cat was taken into custody
In Khmelnytskyi Oblast, the court satisfied the investigator's request and chose as a precautionary measure the detention of a father suspected of beating two young children with a hot cat.
Recall, on May 14, investigators of the Kamianets-Podilskyi district department of the National Police in Khmelnytsky region opened criminal proceedings under two articles of the Criminal Code — 127 (torture) and 166 (Malicious failure to care for a child) and declared suspicion to a 37-year-old man who was hot He beat an 8-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter with a cat.
Investigators found out that in this way the father punished the children for disobedience. As a result of this “educational” process, children received burns to the buttocks, legs and back. All five children who were raised in the family, by decision of a special commission, were removed from their parents and are in the hospital.
The man was taken into custody for the period of pre-trial investigation.
