In the Kherson region, the police have bribed the head of one of the city centers of primary health care
The operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in Kherson region, together with law enforcement colleagues, exposed the corrupt activities of the official.
Yesterday, May 27, operatives and investigators of the investigative department of the police of the Kherson region exposed the head of one of the city centers of primary health care. In the official office of the head, law enforcement officers seized UAH 100,000, which he received as an illegal benefit. For this amount, he promised to rent a room in the center, underestimating the rent several times.
Currently, the defendant is detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The question of notifying him of the suspicion is resolved, part 3 of Art. 368 (Acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an illegal benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For the solicitation and receipt of illegal benefits by an official, punishment is provided in the form of imprisonment for a term of five to ten years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years, with confiscation of property. Procedural guidance in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
