In Kharkiv region, carriers were detained who illegally transported people and goods and paid “taxes” to the occupying terrorists
The border guards of the Kharkiv detachment, together with the staff of the SSU of the USBU in the Dnipropetrovsk region, blocked illegal passenger and cargo transportation from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
The illegal business was organized by a citizen of Ukraine who, together with his accomplices, in violation of the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, carried out passenger-cargo transportation from Ukraine through the territory of the Russian Federation to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and vice versa. At the same time, according to operational information, the attackers paid “taxes and fees” to the “budget” of the Russian occupation administration in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region.
According to the results of a complex of investigative and investigative measures, within the framework of criminal proceedings under Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code “Creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization”, submitted to the EHRD based on the materials of the officers of the operational and search unit of the Kharkiv Border Detachment, law enforcement officers documented the illegal activities of the defendants and collected the necessary evidence base.
Today, implementing the available data, by a joint interdepartmental group consisting of the operatives of the Kharkiv Border Detachment and the staff of the SBU in the Dnipropetrovsk region, under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region and the force support of the fighters of the special unit of the DPSU DOZOR, at the checkpoint Two vehicles of the brand “Opel” were found in the “Goptovka”. The defendants of criminal proceedings illegally moved 15 passengers across the state border of Ukraine at the closed checkpoint “Novoazovsk”.
Currently, for violation of the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, citizens face administrative responsibility, and the organizer of illegal business and his accomplices criminal.
