A carrier that illegally transported people from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine was detained in Kharkiv region
The border guards of the Kharkiv detachment, together with the staff of the USBU in Kharkiv region, blocked illegal passenger transportation from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
A citizen of Ukraine, in violation of the requirements of the current Ukrainian legislation, carried out passenger transportation from Ukraine through the territory of the Russian Federation to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and vice versa, responsibility for which is stipulated by Art. 332-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Yesterday, implementing the available data, by a joint interdepartmental group consisting of the operatives of the Kharkiv Border Patrol and the staff of the USBU in the Kharkiv region, at the entrance to the city. The car of the brand “WOLKSVAGEN TRANSPORTER” was stopped in Kharkiv. The car was driven by a citizen of Ukraine, born in 1988, and there were also 8 passengers in the car. During the survey of passengers, it was found that all of them illegally crossed the state border through the closed checkpoint “Marynivka” on June 5, 2021.
Currently, for violation of the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, citizens are brought to administrative responsibility. Urgent investigative actions are ongoing.
It is worth noting that recently in Kharkiv region, carriers violators who illegally transported people and goods and paid “taxes and fees” to the “budget” of the Russian occupation administration in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region were detained. “The illegal business was organized by a citizen of Ukraine who, together with his accomplices, in violation of the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, carried out passenger-cargo transportation from Ukraine through the territory of the Russian Federation to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and vice versa. At the same time, the violators crossed the border at the closed checkpoint “Novoazovsk”. The organizer of this scheme was declared a suspect and a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen.
