In Kharkiv region, rescuers extinguished a fire in a furniture production workshop
On August 25, at 00:15 the number “101” received a report of a fire on the territory of a private enterprise for the production of furniture at the address: Kharkiv region, Kharkiv district, city. Dergachi, str. Cultures, 100.
Six rescue units of the State Emergency Service on tankers, consisting of 30 personnel, immediately arrived at the scene. At the time of their arrival, the production premises were on fire, as well as a nearby warehouse. The total area of the fire at the time of the arrival of rescuers was about 1000 square meters.
8 fire barrels were provided to extinguish the fire. Firefighters worked in respiratory protection devices. Thanks to their actions, it was possible to defend part of the production, machinery and neighboring buildings.
At 02:34 the fire was localized, at 07:17 it was completely eliminated. The cause of its occurrence and the amount of damage caused are currently being established. There are no casualties or casualties.
