In Kharkiv region, border guards conducted tactical exercises on detection and detention of offenders
During the day, the border guards of the 4th border detachment conducted exercises in Kharkiv region on the detection and detention of offenders at the site of one of the departments of the border service.
According to the legend of the exercises, the border service initially detected signs of violation of the border from Russia to Ukraine by a group of up to 10 people. Also, the information was confirmed by local residents, who informed the border guards about the detection of unknown persons in the settlement.
The task of the border guards was to prevent the exit of a group of violators from the controlled border area. The main focus of the exercises focused on the use of forces and means, responding to changes in the situation, training personnel in actions in various elements of the service order during special actions to search for offenders and to work out the coordination of personnel in actions to protect the state border in different circumstances.
The events were held in conditions as close as possible to the real ones. As a result, the identification and detention of a group of persons who illegally entered the territory of Ukraine.
It should be noted that during the exercises, the unit of the State Border Guard Service demonstrated a high level of readiness to perform the tasks.
