In Kharkiv region, law enforcement officers exposed a group of intruders who produced and sold counterfeit pesticides and agrochemicals
At the place of manufacture of the counterfeit, the police found 4.5 thousand boxes of toxic chemicals for agricultural purposes. The goods made in artisanal conditions were sold by intruders under the guise of various trademarks.
In Kharkiv region, police officers together with employees of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region exposed a criminal group that organized illegal activities for the manufacture and sale of counterfeit pesticides and agrochemicals. It consisted of employees of a number of enterprises and private entrepreneurs. Hazardous substances were manufactured by intruders in artisanal conditions on the basis of active chemicals of the second and third toxicity classes.
During the searches, about 4.5 thousand boxes of counterfeit toxic chemicals for agricultural purposes, as well as raw materials for production and packaging materials were found. The removed hazardous substances are sent for on-site examinations.
It has already been established that the attackers sold counterfeit products under the guise of various trademarks.
Investigators of the General Prosecutor's Office of the National Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 321 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, transportation, shipment, storage for the purpose of sale or sale of poisonous or potent substances or poisonous or potent drugs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General and the operational support of the employees of the Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Those involved face punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to ten years. Investigative actions continue.
