Anti-terrorist training of law enforcement officers was held in Volyn with the participation of the National Guard
Soldiers of military unit 1141 of the Western Operational and Territorial Union of the National Guard of Ukraine took part in anti-terrorist exercises organized by the Security Service of Ukraine.
They took place on the territory of the Ratnivsky district of the Volyn region. In addition to national guards and representatives of the SBU, units of the National Police and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine also took part in the exercises.
During the exercises, the main focus was on the development of joint actions of units in the protection of the state border and the protection of strategically important objects. The events were held in conditions as close as possible to the real ones, using weapons and special equipment.
According to the scenario of the exercises, the conditional “saboteurs” tried to carry out sabotage on several objects of the energy and transport systems of the region, and the participants of the exercises had to neutralize the “intruders”. The Coordination Group noted the high level of readiness of the units to carry out the assigned tasks and the coherence of their actions and provided additional recommendations on improving the algorithm of interdepartmental interaction to prevent possible threats.
