Volyn: Police detained the organizer of the custom-made murder
The woman ordered her ex-husband not to return the loan issued to him. For the “work done” the defendant promised to pay the killer 10 thousand hryvnias. In order to save the man's life, the operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in the Volyn region and the investigators of the regional police conducted a police special operation.
As established by law enforcement officers, a 36-year-old local resident ordered her ex-husband. She, using her husband's personal documents, repeatedly issued and received loans in his name - 200 thousand UAH. In order not to return them, she decided to get rid of it and found an artist for this. The killer promised 10 thousand UAH.
In order to save the man's life and prevent his murder, operatives and investigators conducted a police special operation yesterday, July 6. Therefore, the police staged the commission of the crime and arranged a meeting of the customer with the “potential killer”.
During the agreed meeting, near one of the villages of the Vladimir-Volyn district, the perpetrator received supporting evidence of the “liquidation” of the former husband. The woman was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The detainee has already been informed of the suspicion of organizing a completed assassination attempt, committed on order (Part 2 of Art. 15, Part 3 of Art. 27, Clause 11, Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The question of choosing a precautionary measure is being resolved. Procedural management is carried out by the regional prosecutor's office.
