In Volyn, two men will be prosecuted for illegal hunting
The attackers were caught by a yeager at night near the carcasses of two skittles and called the police. The information is entered in the ERDR under Part 1 of Art. 248 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Last night the Luboml police received a message from a yeger that near the village. Shtun Kovel district in the field during a raid of hunting grounds, two shot donkeys were found. Nearby is a Ford car and two unknown persons likely involved in the crime.
An investigative and operational team immediately arrived on the scene. In the vehicle were found cartridges for rifled weapons, an object similar to a hunting knife, polymer bags, ropes and other implements that could be used for illegal hunting.
All of this has been removed from the scene. The police sent a petition to the court to arrest things, objects and a car.
The killed animals were sent to a local veterinary hospital for autopsy and determination of the final causes of death.
Violation of the rules of hunting, in accordance with Article 248 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, is punishable by a fine of one hundred to two hundred taxable minimum incomes of citizens or public works for a period of one hundred sixty to two hundred forty hours, or by restriction of liberty for up to three years.
