On the Ukrainian-Russian section of the state border there was an attack on the border outfit
This night, on the Ukrainian-Russian section of the state border, in the Sumy region, there was an attack on a border outpost, during which three unknown persons inflicted bodily injuries on two border guards. The offenders managed to take possession of a display weapon.
By timely joint actions with the National Police, the weapons are returned, the search for persons involved in this crime is carried out. Urgent investigative actions are carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings brought to the EHRD under Articles 262 and 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“Abduction, appropriation, extortion of firearms, military supplies...”, “Threat or violence against a law enforcement officer”). Note that certain sanctions of these articles are provided as a punishment of imprisonment for up to 15 years.
Security of the state border is carried out intensively.
