Another police station opened on the territory of the Chervonograd territorial community
Today, on December 10, in the territory of the Chervonograd territorial community, in the city of Sosnivka, another police station opened.
The head of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region, police general of the third rank Alexander Shlyakhovsky, chairman of Chervonograd TG Andriy Zalivskyi, representatives of the clergy, local government and residents of the city took part in the solemn opening of the station.
This is already the second police station in the community — the first one has been operating since August this year in the village of Silets. Both stations were opened within the framework of the “Community Police Officer” project in implementation of the memorandum of cooperation between the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv Oblast and Chervonograd Territorial Community.
The new station, where two community police officers will be on duty, is located at 28 Hrushevskogo Street in the city of Sosnivka. As of today, three community police officers work in the service territory of the Chervonograd territorial community, each of which is equipped with a manned service car and the necessary equipment for effective and quick response to citizens' reports. Next year, two more police stations are planned to open in the community.
“The main thing I want to pay attention to is that police officers who are residents of your city will work at this station. They will serve you and protect you 24/7. This was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the police with the community leadership. I want to wish community police officers success in service and patience, as well as remind them that they must maintain their authority with people, be responsive, open and intelligent, work transparently for the benefit of the community to create a safe environment, maintain order and calm in the service area,” Oleksandr Shlyakhov noted Vyszki.
In addition, during the opening of the station, the head of police of Lviv region presented to the head of the Chervonograd territorial community Andriy Zalivsky the Gratitude “For Personal Contribution to the Development of the Security Environment”, signed by the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine Oleksandr Fatsevich of the Third Rank Police.
Recall that the main task of the community police officer is to provide residents with quality police services, daily ensure law and order in the service area, respond to community problems in a timely manner and prevent the commission of offenses. The project “Community Police Officer” is based on the principle of interaction of the population with the police on the basis of partnership, and the residents themselves evaluate the work of law enforcement officers.
In Lviv Oblast, 24 territorial communities joined the project. 33 community police officers serve at police stations, in the near future their number will increase to 37.
