In Sumy region, the border guards together with the police began to carry out special measures
In order to prevent offenses directly on the state border and in the controlled border areas, special measures to combat illegal activities have been launched in the Sumy region, which will last until the end of December this year.
Note that such measures help reduce the level of illegal activity at the state border and help to identify offenders in advance, even on approaches to it.
The complex of joint actions will be carried out by the border guards of the Sumy detachment in close cooperation with the units of the GUNP in the Sumy region.
At the moment, joint meetings with territorial units of the National Police have been held at the places of deployment of border units, specific tasks and planned activities have been defined.
In particular, joint service, establishment of control posts, inspections in places of possible appearance of potential offenders, as well as other measures aimed at countering illegal activities at the border were organized.
