In Sumy region, law enforcement officers reported suspicion of the director of one of the municipal enterprises of the region
Employees of the public interest sector and the state criminal police, together with the investigative department of the Sumy district police department under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office, exposed a man who, abusing his official position, caused damage to the state in the amount of about 2 million 335 thousand hryvnias.
As previously established by the police, the intruder gave an illegal instruction on the conduct of economic activities on the collection and use of groundwater and, as a result, the implementation of water intake in the period from 2018 to 2019 in the amount of 585068 cubic meters. As a result, it caused damage to the state in the amount of about 2 million 335 thousand hryvnias.
In addition, the illegal activities of the husband are also proven to the illegal extraction of minerals of national importance.
At the moment, the attacker has already been informed about the suspicion of committing criminal offenses provided for in Part 2 of Art. 364 “Abuse of power or official position” and part 2 of Art. 240 “Illegal mining of minerals of national importance” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
