Large-scale exercises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place in Rivne region
More than 300 law enforcement officers, 65 units of special equipment and 5 helicopters, the elimination of emergency situations at once in several locations are all large-scale training of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Today, July 13, in the village. The settlement of Rivne district, tactical and special training of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs — rescuers, policemen, guards and border guards took place.
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov stressed that such training allows to develop competence in the most difficult situations.
“The security of the people requires the tone of all units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Today's comprehensive training, in which 300 people participated, showed the coherence of the actions of personnel in the elimination of any emergency situations. When trouble comes, we must be ready,” said Arsen Avakov.
According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, this kind of training was already conducted in June in Sumy and Kharkiv regions. In the fall, another special training is planned.
“Thank you to all the professionals who were involved. Our philosophy is this — all services should be ready to interact in situations that arise in life,” Arsen Avakov said.
In turn, the head of the State Emergency Service Nikolai Chechotkin noted that both the Ministry of Internal Affairs and European partners pay great attention to the issues of interaction between departments.
“Each unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system has its own specifics and methods of work and it is important to be able to work together while overcoming various kinds of dangers. Unilateral situations are becoming less and less, they are complex and require the involvement of all services. We do not stop at what we have achieved, we are improving and keeping the bar that we set,” said Nikolai Chechotkin.
Law enforcement officers worked out several training issues, namely:
- elimination of the results of the accident of the aircraft, the landing of paratroopers and the aeromedical evacuation;
- overcoming the consequences of an accident with subsequent fire and explosion on the territory of the gas station;
- conducting a special operation to detain particularly dangerous armed criminals;
-elimination of ammonia leakage from a railway tank due to an accident at a railway crossing;
-deblocking the victims during the elimination of accidents.
As part of the exercises, the best employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received state awards for impeccable service and conscientious performance of official duties.
