In Rivne region, 18 community police officers started serving in nine territorial communities
Today, November 26, they received the keys to 17 Renault Duster service cars.
Solemn events with the participation of the head of the GUNP in the Rivne region Oleksiy Kamyshansky, the head of the Rivne regional state administration Vitaliy Koval, the first deputy chairman of the regional council Serhiy Svystalyuk, the heads of territorial communities and police officers took place today, November 26, at Prosvita Square in Rivne.
Currently, in Rivne region within the framework of Project 51, the community police officer serves in 32 territorial communities, 10 of which have joined the initiative outside the competition. Today, for a qualitative and prompt response to citizens' reports, police officers are provided with 50 Renault Duster off-road service vehicles.
“The community police officer is the synergy of the local authorities and the police in action,” stressed the head of the region Vitaliy Koval. - The police officer of the community is the first assistant, the guarantor of stability and tranquility in the territory. It is someone who works for citizens, in the community and with the community.”
Vitaliy Koval expressed confidence that the “new sheriffs” are exactly the ones Rivne region is waiting for now. And he wished these steel horses to become reliable helpers for community police officers in quality, speed and combat capability.
The chief of police of the region Alexey Kamyshansky, first of all, thanked the territorial heads for their support.
“Only six months ago, we signed memorandums of intent, and today police officers have already entered the service in the communities,” he stressed. “The officers have undergone special training and will provide high-quality police services for residents of territorial communities. This is an example for others in creating a quality service service on the territory of Rivne region”.
Certificates and keys for official vehicles were presented by representatives of the regional authorities to the heads of the Belokrinitsa, Zoriansk, Velikomelyan, Gorodotsk, Duben, Zdolbunivska, Varas, Ostrozhetska and Kostopil territorial communities, and Oleksiy Kamyshansky a police officer handed over pump rifles to the officers of the said communities.
Service vehicles are equipped with all the necessary tools for work. In particular, the cars are equipped with a safe, chainsaw, flashlights, tow ropes, thermal printers for issuing decisions on administrative offenses in the field of road safety.
In conclusion, the chief police officer of the region Oleksiy Kamyshansky wished the police officers of the communities to implement all the knowledge gained during the training and become worthy helpers to citizens in all the difficulties of the present.
