In Poltava region, the police exposed a man in falsifying certificates about the absence of coronavirus
The respondent in the Internet network offered to produce certificates with a negative result on COVID-19 without passing laboratory tests. The certificate of absence of the disease cost about 250 hryvnia.
The illegal transaction was stopped by employees of the Kremenchuk Regional Police Department together with the regional cyber police unit, under the procedural direction of the Kremenchuk District Prosecutor's Office.
A 21-year-old resident of Kremenchuk is suspected of falsifying medical documents and their implementation through an Internet messenger. During the authorized search, a number of physical evidence were seized at the address of the new moon's residence: computer equipment, mobile phones, “rough” records and money.
The police found that the man offered COVID-19 testing services through various Internet channels without passing the analysis. Certificate of absence of coronavirus disease cost about 250 hryvnia.
Ivan Zhuk, head of the Kremenchug Regional Police Department, said: “Kremenchukivets has posted an announcement about the possibility of ordering certificates of negative COVID-19 test result on more than 150 Internet resources. Currently, investigators establish the number of persons who used the services of the defendant. Investigators carry out investigations under Art. 358 (Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
