In Odesa and Vinnytsia region, border guards received equipment for border protection on water
Today, border guards received 3 patrol boats as part of the implementation of the project of international technical assistance “Together with the EU to border security”. This project, executed by the International Organization for Migration in Ukraine, is funded by the European Union.
In particular, the Izmail border detachment received a patrol boat UMS-425 CC. And the Belgorod-Dnistrovsky detachment - two patrol boats UMS-425 CC and UMS-545 DC. In addition, a powerful engine was transferred to the Mogilev-Podolsk border detachment, which border guards will be able to use on existing boats.
The resulting equipment will be used on river and lake areas for the protection of the state border, control over the border regime, protection of animal objects. Among other things, the boats will be used for joint patrols of Ukrainian border guards with colleagues from neighboring countries.
