In Lviv region, a police helicopter transported a motorcyclist seriously injured as a result of an accident to the hospital
Aeromedical evacuation is carried out within the framework of the project, which is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The traffic accident occurred today, October 30, at 10.10 in the village of Ozhydiv, Zolochiv district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, a GAZ truck driven by a 37-year-old local resident and a motorcycle “Boxer”, driven by a 28-year-old resident of the same village, collided.
As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist received serious bodily injuries.
A man with a head injury was urgently taken to a medical facility in Lviv by a police helicopter Airbus Helicopters H-145.
Thanks to the project on aeromedical evacuation, which is carried out by specialists of the Aviation Support Center of the National Police of Ukraine and the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, patients with serious injuries or in critical condition are quickly transported to medical institutions by police helicopter — during October 23 rescue missions.
