In Luhansk region, the memory of the Hero of Ukraine police colonel Sergey Gubanov was honored
Today marks a year since the death of Sergei Gubanov - the legendary combatant of the “Luhansk-1” welfare company. Sergey will forever remain in our memory as a courageous, decent, honest and bright person.
His family and relatives, friends, brothers, colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police, the command of the Joint Forces of Ukraine and commanders of volunteer battalions gathered today to honor his memory.
“The entire personnel of the National Police of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine today bow their heads low and honor the memory of the brave fighter and true patriot of Ukraine Sergey Gubanov. His death remains a wound that still bleeds. I lost not only a sibling friend, but also a true brother in spirit. We promise you, Sergey, that we will do everything to fulfill your dream - Ukraine will be strong and peaceful. And your native Luhansk will be Ukraine! We all know that heroes don't die! Sleep peacefully, friend!” - Deputy Head of the National Police Vadim Troyan spoke during the commemoration of the legendary combatant.
