In Luhansk region, the police reported the suspicion of the former mayor — his actions led to almost 120 thousand hryvnias of damage to the local budget
The ex-husband of one of the cities in the Luhansk region is accused of abuse of power and official position. At the expense of the local budget, the official concluded contracts for the provision of legal services.
This was done by an official in violation of the requirements of the law and for personal reasons — in order to get free legal services for himself from representation in the courts.
Such actions of the mayor caused almost UAH 120 thousand losses to the local budget. Operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in the Luhansk region exposed the official.
On Friday, June 11, on the basis of the evidence collected by them, the investigators of the Lisichansk department of the regional police department under the procedural leadership of the prosecutor's office of the region informed the attacker about the suspicion. Exmer is charged with committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 1 of Art. 364 (abuse of power or official position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The defendant may face punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to three years.
