A foreigner was found at the border who was carrying fake ID cards of EU countries
Yesterday at the checkpoint “Kuchurgan” during the implementation of operational information, the border guards of the Podolsk detachment inspected the minibus, which was heading from Odessa to Chisinau. According to the results of the inspection in the vehicle, the border guards found 5 fake ID-cards of citizens of Romania and Lithuania. A 32-year-old citizen of Moldova was riding in a minibus.
There were no document owners in the car. All ID cards found turned out to be fake.
The documents were seized and handed over to representatives of the National Police. They were also sent a notice to inform the EHRD about the criminal offense provided for in Art. 358 Criminal Code “Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, their sale, use of forged documents”.
