In Kyiv region, the court detained a man who shot at a car in Sofievskaya Borshchagovka
On October 12, around 7:40am, an unknown man in camouflage fired shots in the direction of the 27-year-old New Moon, who, along with his 28-year-old wife and child, was riding in a car.
“A man and a woman and their child were shot at a car close by. We recorded that the attacker made two shots from a revolver, which pierced through the door of the car, after which the shooter disappeared,” said the chief of police of the Kiev region.
Law enforcement officers conducted a number of operational-search activities and established the identity of the attacker. He turned out to be a 47-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia.
The police found out that the man opened the shooting at the behest of his familiar businessman, with whom they have been cooperating for a long time.
So, the entrepreneur offered a friend a monetary reward in the amount of $1,000 for the fact that he would “put the debtor in the hospital”. The offender carefully thought out the plan for the crime, studied the victim's daily routine, repeatedly appeared at the scene of the upcoming crime.
On October 12, using conspiracy methods, the man tracked down the young man as he and his family climbed into the car, and fired. Law enforcers also established that shortly before that a man, on the orders of the same entrepreneur, set fire to the car of the victim's family and received 15 thousand hryvnias for the crime.
It is established that the suspect is repeatedly convicted of property crimes and hooliganism.
The arsonist was informed of the suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 296 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
The court chose a preventive measure for the man in the form of detention.
