Competition among detector dogs was held in Kyiv region

On May 15, another open tournament was held among dog handlers of law enforcement agencies and non-state security firms in memory of the Hero of Ukraine Colonel Kaplunov Dmitry Vitaliyovich of the SBU. The competition was held under the program “Service of Detector Dogs”.

66 representatives took part in the competition. Among them are dog scientists of the National Police of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Police Service of Ukraine, the NGO, the GOR, the UDO, the State Police Service and private security structures.

Canine couples competed in search of explosives, weapons and drugs.

Inspector-dog from Kiev Irina Konosh with her pet German Shepherd Dog won silver in the search for explosives and weapons.

For the third year in a row, the deputy chief of the Kiev police canine center Vesna Loboda won the championship in the search for narcotic substances with his partner a Belgian shepherd named Aid.

Inspector-dog dog from Sumy region Maxim Naumov together with his ward Belgian shepherd Kora won 2nd place in their category.

It is worth noting that all participants professionally and skillfully passed all the tests.
