In Kyiv region, operational and search activities continue in the case of the assassination of Sergei Shefir and his driver
The Kiev police, together with the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service, are now examining more than 430 hectares of forest and working out settlements closest to the crime scene. Employees of the State Emergency Service began a survey of the nearest reservoirs, divers joined.
Criminal investigators and investigators continue to collect analytical information, interview witnesses. Possible ways of departure of the shooter are checked, vehicles that moved within the radius of the crime scene are worked out.
The casings removed from the scene are directed to conduct appropriate examinations. A detailed examination of the victim's car by experts is also continuing.
Recall: On September 22, at 10:20 near the village of Hodosovka, the car of the first assistant to the President Serhiy Shefir was fired upon, and the driver was wounded.
Today, September 23, the Office of the Prosecutor General's Office of the investigation of this criminal proceedings has been transferred to the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
