After the shootout on May 29, 2020, at the scene, police detained 11 armed offenders, seized three vehicles. Subsequently, the police of the capital region introduced a special police operation, during which 35 more participants in the armed conflict were detained.

During the searches, law enforcement officers seized rifles, carbines, pistols, knives, ammunition from the participants of the shooting.

At present, the employees of the Investigative Department of the Kyiv Police under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office have completed the pre-trial investigation and on March 26 sent an indictment to the court against 31 participants of the shootout from Vinnytsia region, and on March 31 - against 15 members of a criminal group from Kyiv Regions. In total, 46 people will appear before the court.

The defendants are charged with committing crimes provided for in Art. 257 (Banditisme), str. 296 (Hooliganism), Part 1 of Art. 263 (Illegal handling of weapons, war supplies or explosives) and under Part 2 of Art. 15, Clause 1, 6 Part 2 of Art. 115 (Completed attempt to intentionally murder two or more persons for selfish motives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
