Photographer to appear in court in Kyiv region for production and distribution of child pornography
As reported earlier, the police of the Kiev region reported a suspicion of a 48-year-old resident of the city of Ukrainka, who made photos and videos of a pornographic nature with children. After that, the attacker sold filming materials to a foreigner abroad.
The criminal activity of the man was exposed by the employees of the Investigative Department and the Department of Combating Crimes Related to Trafficking in Persons of the Kyiv Region Police under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office. Then the man was informed of the suspicion under Part 4 and Part 5 of Art. 301 (Import, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic items), Part 3 of Article 149 (Trafficking in Persons), Part 2 of Art. 156 (Corruption of minors) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers established that the man carried out his criminal activities during 2013 — 2017. Currently, 41 persons have been identified as juvenile victims who were forced by a man to participate in the creation of pornographic material.
In addition, in order to make children feel more relaxed, the attacker treated them with alcohol and e-cigarettes.
At the moment, the pre-trial investigation has been completed, the indictment against the attacker has been sent to court. For his actions, he faces up to 12 years in prison.
