A car with tourists overturned on the mountain “Vysokyi Verkh”: rescuers helped
Yesterday at 16:48 the 101 Rescue Service received a message that during the ascent of tourists, the driver of the UAZ car failed to handle the steering, drove into a cuvette and overturned. The event occurred in the village. Volosyanka of Stryi district on the mountain “Vysokyi Verkh”.
Rescuers of the Slavska search and rescue group of the search and rescue part of the special purpose emergency and rescue unit were sent to the scene.
Five passengers were injured as a result of the incident. Victims with injuries of varying severity were hospitalized in Skolivsk Central District Hospital.
Slavsky search and rescue department carried out work on transportation and transfer of injured people to medical workers.
The circumstances of the incident are established by law enforcement officers.
