Reconstruction work continues in frontline settlements in Donetsk region
The number of houses damaged as a result of fighting in Donetsk region and needing to be restored is estimated in the thousands. Therefore, with the joint efforts of Donetsk Regional State Administration and the State Emergency Service, repair work continues in front-line settlements.
In particular, the next stage of restoration work began on September 1. In total, 150 personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine from Lviv region, Rivne region, Chernihiv region, Vinnytsia region, Kirovohrad region, Kherson region, Ivano-Frankivsk region and Donetsk region help to repair houses, the owners of which are not able to carry out the necessary work on their own.
As of September 20, the reconstruction work was completed by the unit at 116 addresses.
Construction materials were purchased at the expense of the regional budget, in particular at the expense of the regional material reserve of Donetsk region and transferred to citizens on a free basis. Currently, emergency workers work on the territory of the Sartanskaya, Mirnenskaya, Mariinsky, Avdiyivka and Ocheretyn military-civilian administrations.
