The network of citizen security centers is expanding in Donetsk region
A modern Security Center, where the police and rescuers of the State Emergency Service are based, has been launched in the Khlibodarivs'ka territorial community. They will serve 27 settlements with more than 15,000 inhabitants. Placing emergency services directly in the community will allow residents of even the smallest villages to receive fast and high-quality care. Preparing for the opening of the center in Novogrodivka, which was visited today by representatives of the Government.
Today in Ukraine there are more than 30 security centers in communities, most of them in Donetsk region.
Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Chernyshov, Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavlo Kirilenko, Acting Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk Oblast Artem Kysko, Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service took part in the presentation of the Novogrodiv Security Center Ukraine in Donetsk region Oleksiy Migrin.
The security center in Novogrodivskaya TG was built in one year “from scratch” and equipped with everything necessary to properly respond to all events. This community is one of those where the “Community Police Officer” project is being implemented. The selection of future “sheriffs” is currently underway. The community forces have already purchased a service car for them. The issue of allocating two more cars is being resolved.
The single security complex, which combines the police station and the post of the State Emergency Service, will provide round-the-clock protection for more than 19,000 residents, preserving the lives of people and community property.
“This is especially important for the Donetsk region, and the state will always be there,” said Minister of Development of Communities and Territories Oleksiy Chernyshov.
Today, September 1, the 14th Citizens Security Center was opened in the Donetsk region — in Khlibodarivska rural territorial community. The TG includes villages with less than 100 inhabitants, but they must also receive affordable, timely and high-quality police service.
In the new building there will be constant duty of police and rescuers, who are equipped with equipment and new transport. This will shorten the arrival time for calls as much as possible. In addition, from now on, residents can receive all assistance on the spot, within their community.
“The most important task of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and all its structural units is to create a safe environment. And today we can state that such an environment has been created on the territory of the Khlibodarov community. I thank the authorities both regional and territorial, who support, develop, understand, so today we are moving forward with one force,” said Acting Chief of Police of Donetsk Region Artem Kisko.
In total, 28 Citizen Security Centers are planned to be established in Donetsk region.
“This security component should be in every territorial community. Our main task is the safety of people and timely response to any emergency situations,” said Deputy Chairman of Donetsk Regional State Administration Vadim Filashkin.
