In Donetsk region, law enforcement officers liquidated ammunition
Soldiers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine from the Joint Forces continue to detect hidden weapons, ammunition and explosive objects.
Yesterday, operational units of the 11th Border Detachment neutralized a cache of ammunition.
Within the framework of open criminal proceedings, a joint interdepartmental group consisting of border guards and SBU officers in an abandoned building on the outskirts of N.P.Maryinka, Donetsk region, discovered a hidden storage place of military means of destruction.
From the cache, the law enforcement officers seized more than 1700 rounds of various calibers, including large-caliber, more than 30 grenades of various types, 3 shells of up to 30 mm guns, detonators and incendiaries for grenades.
Detected military means of destruction were withdrawn in accordance with the established procedure. Measures are underway to identify persons involved in the arrangement of a dangerous storage facility.
