Members of a criminal organized group will be tried in Dnipropetrovsk region for distribution of firearms and explosives
The 32-year-old organizer and two members of the group with interregional ties established the sale of weapons, combat supplies, explosives and explosive devices to the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions, from the territory of the Joint Forces Operation.
As law enforcement officials found out, the criminal activity of men was carried out for a long time. Also for the purpose of conspiracy, men attracted familiar women to their activities. They acted as couriers and shipped weapons and ammunition to customers through post offices. In addition, the goods were sold, also from hand to hand.
On May 12, investigators of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dnipropetrovsk region, under the operational support of the Criminal Investigation Department, with the support of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions and under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region, with the strong support of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions and under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region, with the strong support of special officers of the Criminal Investigation Department Men's activities were stopped.
During more than 20 searches, in cars and at the place of residence of thieves, law enforcement officers seized AKSU machine guns, anti-tank guided missiles, mines, artillery shots, grenades, cartridges of various calibers, pistols, carbines and rifles and 400,000 hryvnias and about 8 000 US dollars.
During the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officers proved the involvement of men in seven episodes of criminal activity.
After conducting a complex of investigative actions, expert studies, three defendants were informed of suspicion of committing criminal offenses provided for in Part 3 of Art. 28, Part 1 of Art. 263 (sale of firearms, war supplies, explosives or explosive devices without the permission provided by law) of the Criminal Code KSU of Ukraine.
Also subject to criminal liability provided for in Part 2 of Art. 28 Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, two women, assistants of intruders, are charged.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to seven years in prison.
On October 1, the indictment against the members of the organized criminal group and their accomplices was sent to court, for further trial.
