Joint border operation “Kordoon-2021" continues in Chernihiv region
At the state border of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region, a joint border operation called “Border-2021” continues. Guards of military unit 3082 together with the border guards of the 105th detachment and employees of the National Police ensure the strengthening of measures to prevent and stop illegal activities on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
“During the month, the state border is being worked out with the participation of soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Service. During this time, in addition to the perfect performance of their tasks, our units had the opportunity to exchange experience, which will be useful for both sides in the future,” said the first deputy commander of the unit — Chief of Staff Major Mykola Vasylenko.
During the operation, joint units carry out checks of transport and documents at checkpoints, patrol river sections of the border using small border craters, and bypass the border territory.
