In Cherkasy region, law enforcement officers together with local residents found a 6-year-old boy who disappeared in the forest

The child disappeared in the evening. Local police officers and soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine were involved in the search for the boy. In the morning, little Sasha was found. He was scared sitting by the swamp, hugging his dog.

Yesterday, May 29, at 23:20 the Cherkasy district police department received a report that a 6-year-old boy had disappeared in the forest near the village of Svidovok. His disappearance was reported by his parents, who since 20:00 in the evening tried to find his son on their own, however, the search was in vain. They asked the police for help.

Police officers of Cherkasy district administration, special purpose police battalion, juvenile prevention, domestic violence sector, dog service, as well as servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine were raised on alert.

The search was assisted by the inspectors of the water facilities maintenance company of the Patrol Police Department, who examined the forest thickets with thermal imagers.

The search for the boy was joined by indifferent Cherkasy residents.

The police found out that little Sasha was playing in the yard. His favorite dog ran out into the street - the boy ran after him. Cupid led the little one to the forest, and there they both disappeared.

The search continued all night.

Law enforcement officers and concerned citizens surveyed the square in the area of 10 kilometers. Thickets and wetlands were checked. Everyone believed that the boy would definitely be found alive and unharmed.

However, the search was complicated by the dark time and the fact that due to autism spectrum disorders the child did not respond.

Groups of searchers were divided along the entire perimeter of the forest.

In the morning, at 5:30am, Sasha was found.

Local residents came across it.

Frightened, he sat near the swamp, hugging his faithful four-legged companion and crying.

Fortunately, everything was fine with the child. The boy was taken home and handed over to his family.
