The Ministry of Internal Affairs is working on the creation of a Service Center for Helicopter Maintenance — Denis Monastyrsky
Today, December 22, a meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and executive bodies on the creation of a single Service Center for Helicopter Maintenance in Ukraine took place in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. It will allow the repair and modernization of helicopters of the French production Airbus.
Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky stressed that the outcome of the meeting should be the development of a road map, when the Ministry of Internal Affairs system will be able to get a Service Center for Helicopter Maintenance.
“We need to coordinate the planned repairs of the French helicopters that are in service in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Separately, we must complete all the procedures so that the Service Center finally becomes a Service Center. That is, to coordinate all issues with the documentation so that we can already independently service our equipment,” he said.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Sergey Goncharov added that Nizhyn is the main service base, all infrastructure for heavy helicopters H-225 has been created there, but other types of helicopters can be serviced at this base.
“The basic base of police service will be the city of Kaniv. For the State Fiscal Service — this is Odessa and Kharkiv, the corresponding infrastructure will be created there. Alexandria is the main base for the location of the air forces of the National Guard of Ukraine,” he said.
Sergey Goncharov added that: “from the next academic year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will actively use the training base of the Kremenchuk Flight College, which received materials, equipment models, the instructors of which were trained at the Airbus plant in France. In addition, French instructors will come to Ukraine to provide advice.”

The Aviation Civil Protection Service was created in order to build an effective system of assistance to the population in emergency situations, prevent the occurrence of emergency situations and eliminate their consequences.
In addition, on the joint initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health in Ukraine, the aeromedical evacuation system is being restored. This is a completely new level of emergency medical care, in which a person will receive medical care or be taken to a medical institution from any, even the most remote, corner of the country.
