Last week, the National Emergency Service rescued 50 people and eliminated 1,959 fires
During the past week (from 02.08 to 08.08) units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine carried out trips to carry out emergency prevention measures, prompt response to events and elimination of their consequences, extinguishing fires, carrying out other rescue measures.
Since the beginning of the week, 2,578 emergency events have been registered, to which the response of the units of the State Emergency Service has been ensured with their departure to the place of their occurrence. As a result of the measures taken, 50 people were saved.
1,959 fires were eliminated, 11 people were saved in the fires and 343 buildings and 37 units of equipment were not destroyed by fire. 12 people died in the fires. Estimated losses, according to operational data, amount to 5 million 320 thousand UAH.
The pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service carried out 322 sorties, during which 1,767 explosive objects were found, seized and destroyed.
56 people died in water bodies.
