Last week, the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine rescued 42 people and eliminated 1,589 fires
Over the past week (from 03.05. to 09.05) units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine carried out trips to carry out emergency prevention measures, prompt response to events and eliminate their consequences, extinguish fires, carry out other rescue measures.
There were no emergencies for a week. 2,030 emergency events were registered, to which the response of the units of the State Emergency Service was ensured with the departure to the place of their occurrence. As a result of the measures taken, 42 people were saved.
1,589 fires were eliminated, 27 people were saved in the fires and 453 buildings and 36 units of equipment were not destroyed by fire. 23 people died in the fires, estimated damages, according to operational data, amount to 13 million 437 thousand UAH.
The pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service carried out 280 sorties, during which 1,064 explosive objects were found, seized and destroyed.
21 people died in water bodies.
