Last week, the National Emergency Service rescued 143 people and extinguished 1,496 fires
During the past week (from 10.05 to 16.05) units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine carried out trips to carry out emergency prevention measures, prompt response to events and eliminate their consequences, extinguish fires, carry out other rescue measures.
Since the beginning of the week, 1,930 emergency events have been registered, to which the response of the units of the State Emergency Service has been ensured with their departure to the place of their occurrence. As a result of the measures taken, 143 people were rescued.
1,496 fires were eliminated, 133 people were saved in the fires and 424 buildings and 39 units of equipment were not destroyed by fire.
20 people died in the fires.
The pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service carried out 284 sorties, during which 1,563 explosive objects were discovered, seized and destroyed.
25 people died in water bodies.
