Nikolaev law enforcement officers suspected the organizer of a group of officials in appropriation of almost a million hryvnias of state funds
April 28 in the city. Kyiv investigators of the Investigative Department under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office and under the operational support of the employees of the USSR in the Nikolaev area DSR NPU handed over the suspicion to the 40-year-old organizer of the OZG of committing a crime under Part 5 of Art. 191 (Appropriation, embezzlement of property or possession of it by abuse of official position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For the committed acts, the defendant is threatened with imprisonment for up to twelve years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years and with confiscation of property.
During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that the attacker performed managerial functions at the specified enterprise. In the period from 2017 to 2019, under his leadership, officials organized fictitious employment in a branch of one of the state-owned enterprises of a number of citizens and gratuitously charged them wages and other payments totaling UAH 928 451, acting in the interests of third parties, two of whom were fictionally employed Employees who were not part of the OZG were also notified of suspicion on April 28 under Part 3 and 4 of Art. 191 (Appropriation, embezzlement of property or possession of it by abuse of official position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that in October 2020, the police reported the suspicion of three heads of structural units of the said state enterprise, two 46 and one 58 years old, of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 5 of Art. 191 (Appropriation, embezzlement of property or possession of it by abuse of official position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
